more » ... nd identifies research issues that need to be addressed for successful streaming with content awareness using protocol such as RTSP under heterogeneous environment for the next generation of wireless mobile ad hoc networks. The proposed architecture includes integration of MPEG-21 multimedia framework, digital content verification engine, cross layer design and interaction at various layers including network and MAC layers and IEEE 802.21 to handle mobility in MANETs to offer quality of service provisioning.
