This study proposed the bootstrap maximum-entropy method to evaluate the uncertainty of the starting torque of a slewing bearing. Addressing the variation coefficient of the slewing bearing starting torque under load, the probability density function, estimated true value and variation domain are obtained through experimental investigation of the slewing bearing starting torque under various loads.
