more » ... . To achieve the main objective of the thesis, it was determined that the critical areas are bending, drilling and reinforcement. Where the last one is the bottleneck in the production line. Identified the main causes was proceed to the application of SMED, for preparation times and line balance for the bottleneck. The results were that the preparation time's decrease by 70%, 65% and 64% respectively and increase the efficiency of the line increase from 21% to 43%.
