The magnetic field of HD 101065
1976
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific
Zeeman spectroscopic observations show that HD 101065 (Przybylski's star) has a magnetic field strength of about -2200 gauss. The limited observations available show no evidence of magnetic or spectrum variability. Observations of the Am star 8 Nor were made in order to determine whether systematic errors were present in the determination of H e , and these data yield an upper limit of 150 gauss for the field of 8 Nor.
