John Litva (SM'92) is currently a Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ont., Canada. He is a Thrust Leader for the Telecommunications Institute of Ontario (TRIO), a university-industry based Center of Excellence funded by the Province of Ontario, to conduct research in support of Ontario's telecommunications industry.
