Health Spending and the Growth of Sub-Saharan Africa: A Causal Relationship Analysis

Using the panel granger causality test, this study examines the causal link between health expenditure and economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. The literature on the causal relationship between health spending and economic growth was varied and classified into four groups. The first set of findings shows that health spending stimulates the economy, while the second group suggests that health spending stimulates the economy.
