Studi deskriptif kejadian stunting pada balita usia 24 – 59 bulan stunting di Kabupaten Majene

ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang mencerminkan kekurangan gizi kronis jangka panjang dan kegagalan pertumbuhan linier. Stunting pada balita diakibatkan dari kekurangan gizi kronis khususnya pada 1.000 HPK sehingga anak menjadi sangat pendek pada usianya.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran kejadian stunting pada balita di Kabupaten Majene. more » ... Kabupaten Majene pada tahun 2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner dan formulir food recall 24 jam. Penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 43 (74,1%) ibu balita dengan riwayat antenatal care (ANC) lengkap, terdapat 33 (56,9%) ibu balita dengan tinggi badan normal. Terdapat 52 (89,7%) balita dengan berat badan lahir normal, terdapat 57 (98,3%) balita dengan asupan energi kurang, terdapat 31 (53,4%) balita dengan asupan protein yang cukup, terdapat 56 (96,6%) balita dengan asupan seng yang kurang. Secara umum riwayat antenatal care dan tinggi badan ibu termasuk dalam kategori normal. Karakteristik balita yang berkaitan dengan kejadian stunting sebagian besar termasuk dalam kategori kurang. ABSTRACT Stunting is a public health problem reflects chronic long-term nutritional deficiencies and failure of linear growth. Stunting in infants is caused by chronic malnutrition , especially at 1,000 first day of life so that children become very short at their age. This study was to describe the incidence of stunting in toddlers inMajene Regency. This study was a descriptive study with a sample of 58 toddlers. The study was conducted in the Majene Regency in 2019. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires and 24-hour food recall forms. This study showed there were 94 (81%) mothers of children under five with a complete history of antenatal care (ANC), there were 74 (63.8%) mothers of children under five with normal height. There were 107 (92.2%) toddlers with normal birth weight, there were 80 (69.0%) toddlers with less energy intake, there were 77 (66.4%) toddlers with adequate protein intake, there were 82 (70.7 %) toddlers with less zinc intake. In general, antenatal care history and maternal height are included in the normal category. Toddler characteristics related to the incidence of stunting are mostly included in the less category.
