This research aimed to assess the impact of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic (COVID-19) on the teaching and linguistic performance skills of Student Teachers of the Arabic Language, at the Faculty of Education, University of Alexandria. Through their answers to the questionnaire related to this, and measuring the extent of their mastery of the "written" linguistic performance skills by answering the test that was designed for this, but to monitor the ability of students, teachers of Arabic language, with the teaching performance skills, a note card was applied to (35) students A female student only, and we note the difference in the sample size, because monitoring the teaching performance requires careful monitoring and observation. This research relied on the descriptive analytical method. To demonstrate this effect, the most important results of the research were the following: 1. The Student Teachers of the Arabic Language survey questionnaire about the distance education experience as a whole got an average of (2.58%), and the average percentage according to the responses of the study sample was (51.60%) with a "low" rating. It is clear from this result that the average is low, but very close to the average, because distance education includes e-learning, which has many advantages that helped raise scores and responses, while it has some obstacles, including: lack of good preparation to implement this system of education, lack of The presence of sufficient time for training on the distance education system and the use of educational platforms, the necessity of restructuring the curricula to suit the new educational system, which if taken into account will have a major role for this system later on. The teaching performance note card for Student Teachers of the Arabic Language got a low rating as follows: The language lesson planning skill as a whole got the average percentage according to the study sample responses (39%) with a "low" rating, while the language lesson implementation skill axis as a whole got The average percentage according to the responses of the study sample was (39%) with a "low"
