This study aims to develop the switch and crossing for a single line operation at the double track section. First, the authors design and produce the simplified structure of the switch and crossing for passenger trains which can be installed without the cutting of the existing rails. Secondly, we test the fatigue durability of the front end of the structure by rolling fatigue test device.
