Development Of A Novel Radar Sensor For Monitoring The Vibration Characteristics Of Structures At Short Ranges
The capability of radar interferometry to monitor the vibration characteristics of different civil structures has been consolidating in the last decade and successful case studies have been issued by different research teams. In this paper the authors describe the development of a novel sensor working at a higher frequency with respect to system available from the market, and with a larger radiofrequency bandwidth, able to provide an improved range resolution.
