RESUMO: O controle de diferentes fungos fitopatogênicos, Aspergillus sp., Penicillium rubrum, Sclerotinia sp., Fusarium verticillioides Cepa UEM e Corynespora cassiicola, foram testados na presença de óleo essencial de Mentha arvensis L. A extração do óleo foi realizada por arraste a vapor, após secagem das folhas em estufa com circulação de ar a 50 °C. ABSTRACT: The control of the following different phytopathogenic fungi, Aspergillus sp., Penicillium rubrum, Sclerotinia sp., Fusarium verticillioides Cepa UEM and Corynespora cassiicola, was tested in the presence of essential oils of Mentha arvensis L. The oil of Mentha arvensis L. was extracted by steam distillation after the drying of leaves in greenhouse with air circulation at 50 °C. The oil of Mentha arvensis L. was able to inhibit the growth of all the studied fungi at 100 µL concentration.
