Two chapters arc devoted to the general symptoms of irritable uterus, such as are expressed by the ccrobro-spinal nervous system and the vascular system, also the sympathetic or reflex disturbance of various organs, of pain depending on spinal and cerebral irritation, with irritations in the track of particular nerves ; hypersesthesia, as well as intellectual and moral disturbances.
