His fields of interest include modeling, control and energy management of intelligent electric vehicle charging stations and other types of microgrids based on renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies. Josep M. Guerrero (S'01-M'04-SM'08-F´14) received the B.where he is the co-responsible of the microgrids research program. His current research interests include operation, power management, hierarchical control and optimization applied to Distributed Generation in AC/DC microgrids. He is currently member of the Technical Committee on Renewable Energy Systems TC-RES.
