Simulation of Buffering Mechanism for Peer-to-Peer Live Streaming Network with Collisions and Playback Lags
unpublished
In this paper, an approach to the peer-to-peer live streaming network simulation is presented. The model considers collisions because of limitation of peer's upload capability and takes into account the data transfer delays, which cause playback lags between peers. As a basis of simulation the mathematical model is considered, which describes in terms of discrete Markov chain the data exchange process between buffers of users in peer-to-peer network. Joint analysis of the two models-simulation
