Purpose. To develop a diagnostic and treatment algorithm of kerato-refractive surgery (KRS) choice after the optical reconstructive surgery with the implantation of iris-lens diaphragm and to evaluate the results of induced ametropy correction.Material and methods. In the follow-up 58 eyes (58 patients) with a residual ametropy and stable visual functions after reconstructive surgery with the implantation of iris-lens diaphragm were examined before and after keratorefractive operations. The PRK

The personalized laser ablation was carried out according to the corneal topography in the detection of irregular astigmatism.Results. Patients operated using the personalized ablation algorithm, after keratorefractive operations had a significant decreased SRI regularity index (р<0,05) from 1.34±0.22 to 0.72±0.11 with the FemtoLASIK, from 1.25±0.37 to 0.98±0.15 with the PRK. The uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) compared with preoperative values significantly increased (р<0,05) in all study groups. A loss of lines in the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was not noted in any case. Conclusion. The FemtoLASIK and the PRK are effective and safe technologies allowing to obtain high functional results in the correction of induced ametropia in patients after the reconstructive surgery with implantation of iris-lens diaphragm.
