Quality of life (QoL) is one of the most important patient-reported outcomes in chronic diseases. Using a population-based cohort, our objective was to assess health-related QoL in individuals with a previous myocardial infarction (MI). This study was conducted on a large database representative of the adult Portuguese population aged 18 years or over, living in the community. Participants were assessed through telephone interview.
