The granite-gneiss domes of the Middle Dnieper were discovered from the data of gravitational and magnetic fields, since Ukrainian shield was significantly denuded and covered by a layer of sedimentary formations of various thicknesses. In numerous described facies, and then in the formations, the questions of the geological development of the shield were not solved. In this work, an attempt is made to clarify some of these issues.
