In this paper we present an automatic and robust technique for creating NPR rendering and animation from video. We use a set of algorithms to generate and place our initial frame strokes. Due to the fact that strokes in our system are represented as a set of particles and springs simulated in a physically based system, our strokes can undergo several transformations such as translation, rotation and shape deformation. Strokes undergo transformations due to forces exerted from a smoothed opticaldoi:10.1007/s00371-016-1256-6 fatcat:ivjjcj2asnbsbclmb3jsuakbrq
