Role of recognizing receptors in the initiation of immune inflammation in theskin of psoriasis patients
2010
Vestnik Dermatologii i Venerologii
The article presents data on the pathogenetic role of Toll-like receptors in the development of immunopathological reactions in the skin. The authors examined the distribution and content of Toll-like receptors TLR2, TLR4 and TLR9 in the affected skin of psoriasis patients. They revealed a statistically significant increase in expression of Toll-like receptors TLR2 and TLR4, which can play an important role for the formation of the inflammatory process involving cells of the adaptive immune system.
