This article represents an insight on the latest techniques used for determining the degree of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis C -the FibroMax and FibroScan techniques, by not only evaluating their results, but also by comparing and contrasting them. We studied 16 patients, diagnosed and treated in the Infectious Diseases Hospital "Victor Babes" from Craiova, with different degrees of fibrosis (F2-F4) and of viral inflammation (A0-A1-A3).
