Study on transmission characteristics in three kinds of deformed finlines based on edge-based finite element method

The influence of model deformation on the transmission characteristics in unilateral finline, antipodal finline and bilateral finline is discussed using edge-based finite element method (FEM). The deformation is considered with respect to the eight boundaries of the model, and their amplitude is set to 0.01–0.05; the transmission characteristics include the cutoff wavelength characteristics of the dominant mode and the single-mode bandwidth characteristics.
