This paper presents a study of the implications of big data analytics towards realization of sustainable development goals (SDGs). The paper begins with a brief overview of the concept big data and its potentials followed by a discussion of the role of big data in the realization of SDGs. In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change and so on.
