Detailed information on the quality performance of networks, considering both the reliability of the network components and of course customer supply availability, is becoming even more important in liberalised markets. It is necessary to find the optimal balance between cost effectiveness and quality of supply for network planning and operation. more » ... pply interruptions, which is also focusing on the DISQUAL indices for supply availability. Examples for the implementation of the outage recording process with two German distribution network operators, as well as examples for the analysis of the statistic demonstrate its usage.
