RISK MODEL OF SEDIMENT HAZARD DUE TO SNOWMELT

The risk model was applied by a multiple logistic regression analysis based on past hazard conditions. We set conditions of geology, relief energy and hydraulic gradient as the necessary variables. more » ... ration of snowmelt. Snowmelt conditions were obtained by SWE (Snow Water Equivalent) model. The Probability and the road damage in the Tohoku region are shown in map with 1km 2 resolutions. This map shows spatial-temporal risk distribution of sediment hazard.
