Lymphocyte antigen 75 (LY75; DEC-205); proteolipid protein 1 (PLP1) A study in mice suggests that DEC-205-targeted delivery of a PLP1 fragment could help treat MS. In a mouse model of experimental autoimmune encephalitis (EAE), a PLP1 fragment fused to a DEC-205-targeting mAb decreased MS symptoms compared with the same fragment fused to a control mAb, suggesting that the DEC-205-PLP1 fusion protein increased immunological tolerance.
