This paper stems from the increasing role CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology is playing in the Italian schools, having been recently introduced in the upper secondary school curricula. After a brief theoretical framework, the role of videos in a CLIL environment will be dealt with, both for learners and for teachers.
