This paper highlights the current status of organic farming in Poland, and identifies problems faced by organic food producers. The article presents the distribution of organic farms by acreage in Poland, pointing to their fragmentation and unused labour resources. Attention was also given to the growing demand for organic food products and a mismatch between the food supply and that demand.
