This paper presents a systematic design for a fully operational portable electrocardiogram (ECG) system for training and educational purposes in Biomedical Engineering (BME) curriculum courses. The proposed ECG system also includes heart rate variability (HRV) analysis using LabVIEW, as well as step-by-step methods for the hardware and software design consideration.
