Developments in concurrency (massive multi-core, GPU, and architectures such as ARM) are changing the physics computing landscape. This paper will describe the use of GPU and massive multi-core, and the changes that result from massive parallelization and the impact on data processing. Major HEP event-processing framework software runs within the changing computing environment. These frameworks have been evolving to accommodate the changes. The framework changes need to go quite a bit further,
