The performance of various silicon antimonate composites having a wide range of Si/Sb molar ratio i.e., 0.18 to 2.72, synthesized earlier'" were assessed by some ion exchange batch experiments for the removal of carrier free (CF) Nickel-63 radioisotope. The kinetic studies and distribution coefficients (K d ) for various composites showed that the removal of Ni in the same chemical environment was proportional to the quantity of antimony present in the composites.
