This article describes recent progress in organic semiconductor research with ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS). Origins of the energy level alignment at organic-conductor/dielectrics interfaces and the charge mobility in organic semiconductor systems are the most important subjects to be elucidated.
