Google enters the new domain: Search for scholarly information

Author Abstract: Portal sites, like Google, play a crucial role in searching for information available on the Internet, but it has been acknowledged so far that they are not useful to search for scholarly information because most of credible scholarly materials, such as online journals, are not included in their domains to search. Google is now, however, promoting activities to make such scholarly information searchable in partnership with scholarly publishers and electronic journal
