The development of the tutorial function in educational centers (1970-2002)

In this work I develop the steps through which the tutorial action has been going through since the educational reform was planned in 1970. 1 also analyse the functions assigned to the tutor throughout the last 30 years and the incidence that the creation of the Department of Vocational Guidance has hado Finally 1 propose the latest functions referred to compensatory education, to school integration, to the problems of indiscipline and violence and to the education of immigrant pupils.
