This article aims to place the debate in two major philosophies that claim to establish criteria for just distribution of social goods within democratic rule-of-law state. On the one hand, John Rawls, through a liberal and universalist thesis, want to know what distributive principles would choose in a unique position equal in order to conciliate liberty and equality, on the other, in a more anthropological than metaphysics, Walzer examines justice from various spheres where goods circulate,
more » ... lowing rules specified by cultural characteristics. There are these universal rules, the appropriate criterion of justice would prevent such a good exercising dominance and therefore control of the conversion process on other spheres of circulation of goods.
