... eram, em alguns casos, burocratizados e por consequência produziam muitos documentos que atualmente formam os arquivos da repressão. Com o fim dos governos civis-militares estes acervos passam a ser um importante instrumento na construção do direito à memória, verdade e justiça. Assim, esta pesquisa tem por objetivo apresentar as leis de arquivo que auxiliam no sigilo ou no acesso das informações contidas nesses acervos que apresentam a participação do Estado nos crimes de violação dos direitos humanos. ABSTRACT: The decades from 1960 to 1980 have been marked in Brazil and Argentine recent History by civil-military governments based in National Security Acts, which installed the culture of fear in states characterized by lack of democracy, by political persecutions and censure. Within this context, many state agencies were strengthened or created to monitor and investigate citizens opposed to the political system. On the other hand, these security agencies were, in some cases, bureaucratized and, as consequence, produced many documents that currently form the archives of repression. With the end of the civil-military governments, these archives have become important tools in the construction of the right to the truth, memory and justice. Therefore, this research aims to present the laws of archive that assist in the secrecy and in the access to information contained in these archives that present the participation of the state in the human rights violations crimes.
