Impacts of nocturia on quality of life, mental health, work limitation, and health care seeking in China, Taiwan and South Korea (LUTS Asia): Results from a cross-sectional, population-based study
2021
Journal of the Formosan Medical Association
While nocturia has been proposed to be related to various systemic diseases and even mortality, there has been little information of the impact of nocturia in other aspects of physical and mental well-being. We evaluated the impact of nocturia on quality of life (QoL), mental health, work limitation, and health-care seeking behavior. An internet-based self-administered survey was distributed among individuals aged ≥40 years with the ability to use a computer and to read the local language.
