Liver cirrhosis is the end stage of liver disease that is caused by various etiologies. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), dyslipidemia and obesity are the most common situations that are seen together with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which is frequently asymptomatic and can silently lead to cirrhosis.
