Cylindrical steel tanks are widely used to water store and for cooling in nuclear power plants. The seismic behaviour of liquid storage tanks is very complicated due to the hydrodynamic pressures of the fluids in them. In this paper, the epoxy-carbon coating method is suggested to improve of seismic performance of cylindrical steel tanks.
