Continuing herbarium and literature studies of orchids belonging to Subtribe Goodyerinae has revealed new distributional records and new taxa. The four new species proposed are Aspidogyne carauchana, A. chocoensis, Microchilus dryanderae and M. perijanus. Microchilus procerus is lectotypified.
