Treatment for head and neck cancer during pregnancy

There are few reported cases of head and neck cancer occurring during pregnancy. In such cases, the safety of the mother and fetus is the top priority in making decisions about treatment. In our department, we have treated four patients who developed head and neck cancer during pregnancy. Three of the patients underwent surgical treatment during pregnancy and had a successful delivery. The remaining one patient received surgical treatment after artificial termination of pregnancy.
