Study on the Dynamics Mechanics of Walking of Elderly Women

The purpose of this study was to clarify the features of walking of elderly people. The subjects consisted of 12 healthy elderly women over 70 years old and 11 healthy young women as a control group. The body joint angle, floor reaction force, and lower body joint torque including the subtalar and toe joint were measured by using a floor force plate and 3D motion analysis system.
