Including orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs)-related content in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) curricula is vital to meeting the demands of the profession. The author was prompted to investigate this issue further as a result of her own observations of the resulting benefits from the past 12 years. Student training continues to evolve in order to address this need.
