In this study, the effect of support values on the natural frequency and critical flow velocity of a straight pipe conveying laminar flowing fluid is studied. The aim of this work is deriving a new analytical model to perform a general study to investigate the dynamic behavior of a pipe under general boundary conditions by considering the supports as compliant material with linear and rotational springs.
