Semiclassical sum rules

The expression 1%$(O) 1 2 = (2p)3'2En1'2(dEn/dn)/4m2, relating the square of the n-th s-wave wavefunction at the origin to the bound state reduced mass p and the excitation energy En, is derived semiclassically. The relation is then used to obtain several sum rules for electron-positron annihilation and an expression for the contribution of a given flavor of heavy quark to the photon-nucleon total cross section.
