Three years on, the Qualitative Methods section is no longer a newcomer. Section membership has climbed to over 700, and we are now the seventh-largest section in APSA. The newsletter is widely viewed as one of the best in its genre. Section prizes for best book, article, and APSA paper are highly regarded. ... ). Section officers and members continue to teach at the Annual Institute on Qualitative Research Meth-ods at Arizona State University, which this year is expecting more than 100 attendees.
