Intramuscular administration of T-1220 1 g per day was given to 22 cases of acute gonococcal urethritis in men visited clinics in Kagoshima city. Serum level of T-1220 after 1 g intramuscular injection reached to peak at 12.25 μg/ml 30 minutes later. Enough concentration of the drug in the urine was also proved. Disappearance of Gonococci was studied in all cases except a case follow up was interrupted. Clinical response was proved at 95.5%. T-1220 was thought to be useful for the treatment of
