Metacognitive Reading Strategies among Undergraduates

The purpose of this study is to investigate the metacognitive reading strategies employed by fifty four undergraduates in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). A questionnaire adapted from Metacognitive Awareness of Reading Strategies Inventory (MARSI) was used and data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20 for descriptive statistics. Findings indicated that the undergraduate students have a great preference in utilizing the Problem-Solving Strategies
