We plan to expand our Open Access publishing project to encompass additional fundamental areas in science and technology and to provide publication opportunities for scientists working in these areas. Based on our success in running journals that represent key concepts and cover hot topics in science and technology, such as Entropy [3], Symmetry [4], Diversity [5] and Sustainability [6], we are launching a new journal entitled Information. It is an Open Access journal encompassing information science, information technology, data processing, knowledge acquisition and communication. This journal will embrace a very broad area of scholarly studies ranging from the basic information theory to information technology and communication technology. The journal will publish theoretical and methodological results in these areas, applications of such results, experimental investigations, and practical findings related to information and knowledge, which have become the most valuable resources of contemporary society.
