Density and electrical properties of compounds of rubber and sulphur were measured for the range of composition from to 32 per cent of sulphur, or from crude rubber to hard rubber. Important changes in the properties with the proportion of sulphur were noted. These changes show definite regularities and occur at compositions which may be represented by simple empirical formulas; at the greatest.
