This article extends a probability of an event based on a family of distribution functions with intuitionistic fuzzy parameters. To do so, a common method is developed from fuzzy environment into intuitionistic fuzzy environment to construct an intuitionistic fuzzy probability. The theoretical results of the proposed intuitionistic fuzzy probability are also investigated. The proposed method is then illustrated with some numerical examples.
